If you believe that content published on our site infringes upon your copyright, please follow the process outlined below to submit a valid takedown request.
Copyright Ownership
All original content on BreachTrends, including articles, site design, branding elements, and graphics, is owned by BreachTrends unless otherwise noted. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or modification of our original content is prohibited without written consent.
We occasionally use excerpts, trademarks, logos, or references to third-party content for informational or editorial purposes under fair use principles. These materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner (or acting on behalf of one) and believe that content published on BreachTrends infringes your rights, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice by including all of the following information:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email and phone number)
- A physical or electronic signature (typed name is acceptable)
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The exact URL or location of the infringing content on BreachTrends
- A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use of the content is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notice Process
If you believe that content removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice was wrongly taken down, you may submit a counter-notification. This must include:
- Your name, contact information, and physical/electronic signature
- Identification of the content removed and the URL it was on
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal Court in your district, or if outside the U.S., that you will accept service from the party who filed the original DMCA complaint
We will forward any valid counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not pursue legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat Infringers
BreachTrends does not allow repeated infringement of copyrights. If a party is found to be a repeat infringer, appropriate action will be taken, which may include access restrictions or content removal.
